Costa Rica international Francisco Calvo hailed Keylor Navas' 'spectacular' Nottingham Forest performance against Leeds United.
Navas joined the Reds on loan from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season, to provide cover for injured Dean Henderson. The 36-year-old made his debut at the City Ground last Sunday, as Forest came away winners and the stopper secured his first clean sheet.
He made several saves to deny Leeds, and his Costa Rica teammate is pleased to see him reignite his career after becoming second choice to Gianluigi Donnarumma in Paris. "[He was] spectacular," Calvo told Yashin Digital.

"Navas deserves it because they have done him a lot of injustice in my view of football. But sometimes football is like that, it’s about coaches and sometimes when a coach arrives he doesn’t like you, he doesn’t want to play you and that’s it. That’s football.
"I’m very happy to see him play and see him make his debut with Nottingham Forest. When you are good and have quality, you can’t keep that down. He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and wherever he is he will show his quality."
