Former Liverpool club doctor Jim Moxon is now working for Manchester United following his departure from Anfield during the summer.
Liverpool announced back in August that Moxon, who joined the Reds back in the summer of 2016 as head of sports medicine and fitness at the Academy, would be leaving his position in order to pursue other challenges.
Dr Moxon oversaw the Anfield club's response to the Covid-19 pandemic three years ago and had been an integral member of Jurgen Klopp’s backroom staff. He was credited with making a major contribution to Liverpool’s recent success, through his excellent work in the field of sports medicine.

But the Reds could very soon be coming up against their former doctor after he accepted a role at Manchester United. The Old Trafford club confirmed last month that their long-standing club doctor, Steve McNally, was leaving after 16 years to take up a new role at the PGMOL.
“McNally will be replaced on an interim basis by Dr Jim Moxon while the club searches for a permanent successor,” a statement from United read.
“Jim has a strong background in medicine and sports science, working most recently as club doctor for Liverpool. He has started working with Steve from this week to ensure a smooth transition.”
While back in November, Liverpool appointed former England national team staff member Jonathan Power as their new club doctor. Power, who hails from West Derby, was with the Football Association for almost 10 years in a variety of roles and has also previously been at Brentford and worked with both codes of rugby in Leeds.
Liverpool are set to face Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday, March 4. Seven points currently separate the two sides in the table.
