Key Leeds Rhinos duo ruled out of Hull FC clash through suspension

Leeds Rhinos will be without Kruise Leeming and Cameron Smith this week when they take on Hull FC.

The pair have been hit with suspensions by the RFL’s match review panel following last Thursday night’s win over Wakefield Trinity at Belle Vue.

Leeming, who was sin-binned during the contest, has received a one-match ban after a high tackle was deemed to be reckless and that rules him out of the Rhinos’ home game against the Black and Whites.

Smith has also been given a one-match penalty notice with his charge being for dangerous contact after putting another player at risk of injury with his actions.

As such, Richard Agar will be forced into a reshuffle ahead of Thursday night’s game as the Rhinos aim to pick up their second win of the Super League season.

Hull had several incidents looked at by the match review panel, according to the minutes, but none of them were deemed worthy of further punishment.

However, the Black and Whites will have selection issues of their own as Brett Hodgson appeared to rule out both Darnell McIntosh and Connor Wynne after Sunday’s game at Castleford due to injury.

Elsewhere, Max Jowitt has been hit a two-match ban, as has Warrington's Josh Charnley with the later being punished for kicking.

Konrad Hurrell of St Helens and Wolves forward Matt Davis have received one-match bans
