Former President Donald Trump is facing challenges as he embarks on a new campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris. Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has expressed concerns about Trump's attack strategies and the potential impact of Harris' rise on down-ballot Republicans.
McCarthy emphasized the importance of focusing the race on policies rather than personalities. He urged Trump to shift his focus from questioning the size of Harris' crowds to scrutinizing her policy positions, pointing out her history of shifting stances.
