Kevin Durant hopped into a Twitter Space titled ‘Kevin Durant is not top 5’ just to gloriously dunk on his haters

Man. I don’t know if it’s possible to be as online as Kevin Durant is. This man is unreal.

We should expect nothing less from the man who has admitted to using multiple burner accounts in the past to argue with his haters. Durant told us he only interacts with the hate and, clearly, he means that.

This man interrupted his night to go and argue with some Twitter folk about whether he was a top five player in the NBA. Yes, seriously. This is a thing that happened.

Not only did Durant join a Twitter Space literally titled “Kevin Durant is not top 5,” but he also decided to speak in it.

And, yes, it went exactly how you’d think it would.

FIrst, Durant heard the arguments out

First, they asked Durant to explain what makes a player stand out above others as a top five guy. He broke down his perspective and it made sense — you’ve got to be able to score and you’ve got to be able to defend at an elite level.

Then they asked him to evaluate his own game and it turned into a conversation about rim pressure.

Then, it turned into a conversation about the lack of free throw attempts for the Suns last season, who Durant actually barely played for because of his injuries.

That’s a pretty strange conversation to have considering that Durant actually got to the free throw line 7.1 times per game last year and shot a whopping 91% from the line. But that’s neither here nor there, I guess?

KD also dunked on the way they view the game

For a guy who apparently doesn’t apply any rim pressure, he dunked on their evaluations pretty hard here.

“I just think how y’all even look at the game is wack as [expletive]. Playoff success. You factor in team success when you talk about players.  I just think how y’all consume the game is trash. Are you good or not? Some things can be that simple. Are you good or not? A lot of people have seen it for a long time, brother. And that’s OK. These lists don’t mean nothing anyway. So why are you getting so upset about it?”

Gotta say, man. That’s a fair point.

People really couldn't believe this was happening

They still can’t. Fans are in awe that Durant jumped in here. The dude is criminally Online.

What wild night, man. Shoutout to Kevin Durant.
