Surat-based textile and garment business, Kesaria Textile Company, has announced a significant milestone in its global expansion journey with the launch of Kesaria Bazaar Nepal, its first international wholesale clothing franchise in Kathmandu.
Located at Chuchepati, Kathmandu, the new outlet has been established as a dedicated wholesale hub for Nepal’s growing garment and apparel trade ecosystem. The launch marks the company’s first step outside India and introduces its scalable “Kesaria Bazaar” franchise model, aimed at strengthening overseas distribution and manufacturer-to-market connectivity.
According to a statement the Kathmandu outlet is designed to connect Nepal-based retailers, distributors, boutiques, clothing shops, bulk buyers and wedding shoppers directly with Surat’s established textile and garment manufacturing base. Through this model, the company aims to help local businesses access premium ready-made garments at competitive wholesale prices while reducing procurement challenges such as high transportation costs, sourcing delays and dependence on intermediaries.
The outlet will be owned and operated by Aakiya Group, which will oversee local operations and execution of the wholesale franchise model in Nepal.
According to the statement, the company said the Nepal launch is part of a broader international growth strategy led by Ritesh Modi, who is spearheading Kesaria Textile Company’s expansion across domestic and overseas markets. Under his leadership, the company is working to build Kesaria Textile Company as a trusted global wholesale garment brand while also strengthening the Ritesh Modi brand as a leadership identity in the textile and fashion ecosystem.
“Kesaria Bazaar Nepal represents an important step in our international expansion journey. Our aim is to bring Surat’s manufacturing strength closer to overseas apparel markets and create a reliable, profitable and scalable wholesale sourcing model for local businesses,” said Modi in a statement.
Kesaria Bazaar Nepal has been conceptualized to solve several long-standing sourcing challenges faced by Nepal’s garment traders and retailers. The franchise will support businesses with factory-direct wholesale pricing, consistent availability of trending designs, lower minimum order quantity options, reduced travel time for business owners, and improved margins for retailers and distributors.
With Nepal serving as its first international benchmark, Kesaria Textile Company plans to replicate the franchise model across key overseas apparel markets. The company’s long-term vision is to create a streamlined international sourcing network that delivers reliable inventory, faster turnaround, reduced supply chain friction and stronger profitability for local business partners.
