Kerry host All Ireland Champions Tyrone in the final round of fixtures in the National Football league.
The Kingdom have been in imperious form this season and have already booked their spot on the league decider. Having topped the table throughout, Kerry have sent out a message of intent that they are the form team in the country.
For Tyrone, the league campaign has been somewhat of a mixed bag. Victories over Kildare and Mayo have been marred by an uninspiring defeat to a Dublin side low on confidence, while Tyrone's clash with Armagh earlier in the campaign is best remembered for the slew of red cards handed out after the final whistle.
Both sides have bigger ambitions in mind than just the National Football League however. Tyrone all but secured their division one status for next season with a two point victory over Mayo last weekend, while Kerry are already in the final and will likely face either Mayo or Armagh in the decider. Both sides will soon be setting their sights on Sam Maguire and the rapidly approaching All Ireland Championship.

Kerry boss Jack O'Connor praised his sides ability to gut it out and get the win against Mayo earlier this month: "This was the kind of game we were hoping we’d win. A game in which our backs were to the wall, fellas are tested as Kerry haven’t been winning these type of games.
Look lads a one point win against a gale of wind with the momentum all with Mayo in the last ten minutes you’d have to be very happy.
This was a very different test to the games we have played against the Donegal's and the Monahan's. This was very different. There was fierce pace in this game for the month of March and Mayo gave us bagfuls there. It was great to be able to stand up to that."
Tyrone star Cathal McShane acknowledges his side are weaker as a result of many players leaving the panel this season: “Even now our squad is very, very competitive. We have serious talent which takes to the field in Garvaghey for training and for matches at the weekend.
“You do look at the talent that stepped away and there was a wealth of experience and a wealth of high skilled players there.
“Obviously people have lots of things going on in their private life, maybe things coming up that they had to focus on or whatever. No doubt if they had stayed it would have made our squad even stronger for the next year and would have put us in a great position.
“You could have asked would those guys have maybe challenged to try to get into the starting set-up more often this year and stuff. And if you're having that within any team, you're going to be in a good position."
