Kerry Katona has potentially put a halt to ever expanding her family as she can't see her fiancé Ryan fathering a newborn baby.
The former pop singer told how she had previously considered freezing her eggs for the future in case they wanted to try for a baby but now feels they are happy as they are.
Addressing her future plans in her New Magazine column she noted Vicky Pattison's decision to freeze her eggs, before discussing her own decision desire to not go ahead with fertility treatment.
She penned: "I previously spoke about freezing my eggs to potentially have a baby with Ryan. But now I can't see us ever having children together. In all honesty, I just can't imagine Ryan with a newborn and getting up in the middle of the night for feeds."
But signing off the snippet she praised her partner before adding: "He's a great stepdad, but I'm not sure he'd be able to cope with a baby. Ryan is very content with the kids we have."
Kerry, 41, is a mother of five, after welcoming her first child, Molly-Marie McFadden, 20, with now ex husband Brian McFadden.
She also has daughter Lilly-Sue, 19, with the Westlife star. Kerry is also a mother to Heidi 14, and Maxwell ,13, with ex Mark Croft, as well as daughter Dylan-Jorge, five, with late ex husband George Kay.
Kerry is loved-up with boyfriend of three years, Ryan Mahoney, and the pair are now set to tie the knot - a fourth wedding for the reality star.
Ryan, 32, proposed in August 2020, having to slam the brakes on planning their wedding due to the pandemic.
Kerry told OK last year: "Ryan's not really a marriage kind of guy anyway, are you? It wasn’t something you wanted to do and I’ve been married enough times."
The fitness fanatic replied: "I’ve always said it’s a bit overrated but it’s a nice thing to do to show your token of love or whatever it is."
And it appears the couple have collectively changed their minds on ever expanding their family since she spoke about having more kids last year.
Speaking on Steph's Packed Lunch, she said: "He's eight years younger than me, but I don't want to rob Ryan of not having a child if that's a route we can go down."
The pair, who have moved in together, are looking on their relationship in a different way to mark their relationship as they plan for Las Vegas wedding.
Kerry joked: "The fact we’ve been together over three years now and we’re not married and no babies," with Ryan adding: "We’re setting records!"
