Kerry Katona has shared her excitement and revealed that her fiancé Ryan is set to officially become her daughter DJ's dad.
The couple have been engaged to one another for three years and have never shied away from sharing their love for each other, but it seems things are becoming more official.
DJ, whose real name is Dylan Jorge is Kerry's daughter from her marriage to George Kay, who died in 2019.
However, at the time of his death, DJ was only a small child when her dad died, with Kerry previously revealing that she doesn't have many memories of George.
As Kerry looks towards the future with Ryan the 42-year-old revealed to the Mirror that they're planning on making things official as Ryan is preparing to adopt the youngster.
"Ryan's adopting DJ, he's a wonderful amazing step-dad to the children he has," she gushed.
The star who found fame in Atomic Kitten went on to discuss that her eldest children, Molly Marie and Lilly-Sue will phone Ryan over any worries, before they pick up the phone and call their biological dad, Brian McFadden.
"That's just how it is," she said before adding: "He's got his own little family now, Ryan pays for Molly's car insurance. Molly and Ryan have such a great relationship, it's funny when they're together."
After years of personal struggles, Kerry admits she's at the happiest place she's ever been in after building her own empire – with Ryan now enhancing her happiness.
The Warrington-born star explained that for "so long" she had "men issues" and picked the wrong people to help create her dream, but gushed over Ryan who she describes as her ultimate dream. She told us: "The other day, we were laying on the bed and Ryan comes up and the three children come in.
"DJ is doing cartwheels, Max is toy fighting with Ryan and our Heidi is telling me about all the gossip about school and I just sat there looking and thinking 'Wow, I've got it, I've finally got what I wanted', I went to Ryan 'How lucky are we?'
"As far as I'm concerned, Ryan has been an amazing dad, I couldn't ask for more, it's been tough but I forget how lucky I am, it's so important to remind yourself that I've got through it." The television personality went on to add: "I've got that family lifestyle, I feel so blessed that I've got what I always wanted and Ryan's been a massive part of that."
Kerry is launching the paperback edition of her memoir, Whole Again: Love, Life and Me, documenting her life and sharing harrowing stories about growing up in Warrington to finding herself on top of the showbiz circuit once again.
But while she may be an open book and describes herself as perhaps the UK's most honest and open celebrity, Katona admits she struggled with parts of her memoir as it was "so difficult to write".
Laying herself bare, Kerry said: "People say to me, 'Kerry who helped you get through all of that?'", she said before adding: "There's nobody on my level of honesty when someone's going through, that they can look up to and get advice or inspiration. I like to think I'm that person, I've had to be my own hero, I've had to be my own inspiration because nobody helped me.
"Obviously I've had people around and stuff but it comes from you, that's the soul of this book – it's about learning about you as a person."
Kerry Katona: Whole Again, published by Mirror Books RRP £9.99, is on sale in paperback from 6th July. You can pre-order from Amazon now.
