Kerry Katona is still recovering from the mystery horror illness which 'ruined' her Christmas.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 42, says she's 'never been so poorly' in her life and has spent the last few weeks on courses of antibiotics.
The mum-of-five explains how doctors suspect a new variant of Covid that hasn't been identified yet could be the reason for her poor health, but all her recent lateral flow tests have come back negative.
Kerry first discussed her illness over the festive period - telling her fans on New Year's Eve: "I am sick to death of moaning and complaining about being poorly. It has literally ruined my whole panto experience. It's ruined my Christmas."
Kerry - who was joined by daughter DJ, eight, in the video - said: "I had Covid. I cracked on doing three day shows". She said she felt "amazing" on antibiotics - but added that she has felt ill again in the days since Christmas.
"It's really really got me down because I am normally like the person who's full of morale and keeps the energy up, and all I'm doing is moaning and complaining," she added.
Writing in her latest column for OK! magazine, Kerry reveals she's got the January blues thanks to her recent health woes.
"I finally feel like I’m back on the mend after being struck down with a virus," the star begins writing. "All of my lateral flow tests were negative, but every doctor I spoke to said they believed it could be a new variant of Covid that hasn’t been identified yet."
She adds: "I’ve never been so poorly in my life! I’ve been on two loads of antibiotics over the past few weeks. I’m still not 100% right, but I feel much better than I did and I’m getting there."
Kerry goes on to admit she's been so busy and ill she hasn't experienced any January motivation yet but is sure she'll have the energy to exercise again after her upcoming operation.
The one-time Queen of the Jungle is set to have corrective surgery on her stomach later this month, after admitting she didn't 'look after herself properly' following a previous tummy tuck procedure.
Discussing the upcoming cosmetic surgery last year, Kerry explained: "I never looked after myself properly and I've messed it all up, my body is really swollen."
She continued to explain to her Instagram followers that she would be going to a different surgery (who she had her latest boob reduction with) to have corrective procedures done.
Writing in her latest magazine column this week, Kerry revealed she has had her pre-op, where doctors assessed her and took blood samples, so is ready to have the corrective surgery later this month.
