Kerry Katona hospitalised and put onto drip after breast reduction surgery

Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has sparked worry after revealing that she has been hospitalised and put onto a drip.

Kerry underwent breast reduction surgery at the beginning of the month, and has now told fans on social media that she had been admitted to hospital.

In the post, she wrote "not really where I want to be", followed by three crying emojis, BirminghamLive reports.

Kerry has been keeping her followers in the loop since having her breast reduction surgery, though it is not clear at present if her admission is related to her operation.

She has previously posted: “I’m still recovering, the stitches are amazing. My back feels great, there’s nothing there. I’m really in the itty bitty t*tty club!”

Praising the clinic's aftercare, she said: “I’ve had a text or a phone call nearly every day,” "They’re doing me b*stard head in now – only joking! They have been so amazing with me. I’m so happy.”

Kerry had previously spoken how the size of her breasts had caused her a lot of discomfort, including giving her back pain.

She said: “They were just too big and looked ridiculous. They gave me so much backache. These are all mine, there is nothing in there. They’re so, so much better. Honestly, it is the best thing I ever did. When they’ve healed properly, they’re going to look amazing.”

The star has long been honest and open about her body, even revealing that she previously "hated" the way she looked.

She has also opened up about her struggles with an eating disorder, writing in her column for OK! magazine: "I’ve been in tears over my relationship with food. I have real issues.

"For example, the other day I bought a kebab and I hid on my own and binged on it. I’ll eat food, and then I’ll feel like I want to be sick. I definitely have some kind of eating disorder."
