Kerry Katona believes Craig David's psychic claims as she works on her third eye

Kerry Katona has backed Craig David as the singer claims he has psychic abilities.

The mum-of-five, 42, believes the singer when he says 'he can hear his ancestors' as she is on a spiritual path herself at the moment and has been working on her third eye - confessing that while she's not psychic, she can sense when something is not quite right or something bad is about to happen.

Earlier this month, Craig, 41, told Ferne Cotton how he has "come out of the closet" about his special talents and admitted he feels "very liberated" in making the revelation, saying: "I’m super empathic, super sensitive and super psychic, which I feel very liberated to say now.

"I was a bit in the closet about being psychic. But I’m very clairvoyant and I can see things in the future. My ears ring off like crazy and I know there’s a guide or some ancestor trying to come through – and tuning in," he added when speaking to the mum-of-two on her Happy Place podcast.

Kerry - who recently shared how her ex George Kay threatened to inject their daughter with heroin - used her latest column for OK! magazine to not only discuss her hopes for an Atomic Kitten reunion, but to also lend her support to the Walking Away singer.

"Craig David has revealed he’s psychic and that he can see things in the future and even hear his ancestors. Bloody hell, can he give me the Lottery numbers?!" Kerry begins writing in the publication.

"Joking aside, If Craig says he can hear his ancestors, I believe him. I’m on a spiritual path too at the moment. I’ve been working on my third eye and I really feel there is more out there – I’m a massive believer in all of that," She continues.

"I’ve always said I have an intuition – I’m not psychic but I can feel when something isn’t right or when something bad is about to happen."

Last month, Kerry opened up about the 'amazing' experience she had on magic mushrooms, as she explained how she is on a spiritual journey and experimenting with alternative medicines and treatments.

The one-time Queen of the Jungle told how she and fiancé Ryan Mahoney enlisted someone to watch her kids during a getaway in Spain while they enjoyed a spiritual experience thanks to the hallucinogens and a team of professionals.

Kerry recalled herself and Ryan crying their eyes out after taking the mushrooms - a Class A drug in the UK - and seemingly blasted the British government for prohibiting legal use of the drug and preventing citizens from achieving "that free conscious mind."

"So we actually did mushrooms. We were in Marbella with the children. The kids went out for the day and we had two professionals come over. They set it all up," Kerry explained on Shaun Attwood’s True Crime podcast.

She continued: "I cried my eyes out, Ryan was crying his eyes out – and it was just amazing.

"I can’t explain it. It’s amazing what us as humans don’t realise what we can do with our own breath. I believe the f***ing Government don’t want us to have that free conscious mind, I’m a conspiracy theories person."

Throughout the chat, Kerry also opened up about her previous well-documented battle with narcotics, but claimed the magic mushrooms and other similar drugs are different - adding: "I’m a massive spiritual person, I believe in a higher power, I believe in visualisation, manifestation."
