Kerry Katona angers fans with fake pregnancy announcement for April Fool's Day

Fans of Kerry Katona have been left fuming after the former Atomic Kitten singer posted a fake pregnancy announcement online for April Fool's Day.

She took to her Instagram account to post a picture of an ultrasound and leaving fans in shock. Before deleting the post, she had edited the caption and said "bloody knew you lot wouldn't bloody believe me".

However, this didn't stop followers from voicing their opinions on the topic. Some were furious and called her "insensitive" for the fake ultrasound post reports The Mirror.

One follower commented: "Kerry Katona faking a pregnancy, weird and insensitive behaviour." Another added: "Kerry Katona faking pregnancy for April fools then deleting it is just f***ing weird."

"Kerry Katona already showing she’s an insensitive dumb a** with a fake pregnancy announcement," one complained. "Pretending to be pregnant will NEVER be funny."

Her spokesman claimed that the star was not meant to post the picture to her public Instagram account. It was instead meant to be on her private one shared with friends.

The spokesman for Kerry said: "It was an April Fools joke for her fiancé Ryan but she posted it to her public account and not her private one with very close friends by accident.

"Kerry herself cannot have any more children due to medical issues and has openly spoken about this in the past. She sincerely apologises to anyone who is offended and would never post anything to purposely upset anyone.”

Kerry is already a mum to Lilly-Sue, 19, Molly, 20, Heidi, 15, and Dylan-Jorge, seven, and son Max, 13.
