KOCHI: The anti-theft squad of the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) during its inspection over the past two weeks in Ernakulam has found misuse and theft by consumers.
Connecting hose to public water tap and transferring water either to a well or tank, connecting motor to the main pipe of KWA and drawing water directly or just before the meter reader or from the disconnected connection are some of the violations found by the anti-theft squad.
