KOCHI: The high court on Monday asked the state government whether it doesn't want to implement the SilverLine semi high-speed rail project in the correct manner as per law.
Considering petitions filed a month ago questioning the survey being conducted by Kerala Rail Development Corporation Ltd (K-Rail), which is the implementing agency, Justice Devan Ramachandran said the court is still being kept in the dark about the law under which a survey is being conducted and the purpose of such a survey. During Monday's hearing, the court repeatedly asked the government's counsel to make submission on the legality of the survey being carried out.
