THIRUVANANTHAPURAM/KOCHI: After the high court set aside a single bench's order staying the survey of lands in connection with the social impact assessment for the state government's ambitious semi high-speed rail project on Monday, LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan stated that the order was a welcome move.
The court order will give a renewed impetus to the Silver Line project that tries to establish a high-speed rail service in Kerala. This project offers a very good compensation, rehabilitation proposal for land acquisition too. Unnecessary litigation would only help to slow down this dream project that would redefine the future of transportation service in Kerala, said the senior CPM leader on Monday evening.
