A Kentucky principal is facing charges after he was allegedly caught on camera holding a beer bong for underage students at a party at his home, police said.
The alleged incident happened at a New Year's Eve party in 2023. Anthony Procaccino, who was the principal at Whites Tower Elementary at the time, was seen in a video taken by students holding a funnel for students to drink out of, as reported by FOX 19.
The Kenton County Police Department said the two teens seen drinking from the "beer bong" were 16 and 17, and were students at Scott High School and Simon Kenton High School, as reported by WLWT. Police said the investigation began after they were contacted by a parent last weekend.
Procaccino, 50, has been charged with two counts of aiding or assisting a minor with alcohol.
"I was shocked. I couldn't believe it until I actually saw it on the news. I couldn't believe it actually happened," Jeremy Hanifen, a former Scott High parent, told WLWT.
Since the incident, Procaccino became the principal at Scott High School. He has since been placed on administrative leave. Assistant Principal Cody Wolf is serving as interim principal in the meantime, as reported by FOX 56.
