Jayden Quaintance committed to Kentucky basketball on Tuesday morning, landing the Wildcats one of the top remaining uncommitted players in the nation.
A consensus five-star center at Word of Game Christian Academy (Raleigh, North Carolina), the class of 2024 standout held offers from Florida, Missouri and Ohio State among others.
As On3 notes, the 6-foot-9 center re-classified from the 2025 class.
Quaintance is ranked the fourth-best player in the class by On3 and No. 9 overall by 247Sports.
Jayden Quaintance is officially committed to Kentucky.
And he’s potentially in for a two-year stint in Lexington.

With the addition of Quaintance, Kentucky now has the second-best recruiting class in the nation in the 247Sports rankings. He is the first recruit ranked as a five-star to commit to Kentucky in this class.
All four commits for Kentucky, three of which have signed with the Wildcats, are ranked in the top 70 in the nation.
Duke, who obtained a commitment from Cooper Flagg in late October, has the consensus top recruiting class in the nation.
