David Martindale has been tipped to take over at Rangers - and Kenny Miller could be coming along for the ride as assistant.
It's been a sobering couple of days for those at Ibrox and some are wondering whether it's time for manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst to call it a day. A 2-1 loss to St Johnstone has pushed some sections of the support to the brink of crisis and already some are talking about who the next man to manage them after the Dutchman could be.
Former striker Miller was taking calls from worried fans on Clyde Superscoreboard on Monday night but perhaps what the former Livingston manager didn't expect to here was a clamour for his return. One punter suggested current Lions boss David Martindale - who Rangers' hero worked with while in West Lothian - is a prime candidate with Miller in as his number two.

Pressed on a response over whether he'd make a dramatic return to somewhere he had three spells at as a player, the ex-number nine insisted: "One thing is for sure.
"He's doing a brilliant job at Livingston. Is that going to be the job to get him the Rangers job? I would have to say no."
Miller's coaching career has took him to Australia with Western Sydney Wanderers as assistant manager and he was last in interim charge of Falkirk last season.
