The Kennedy Center is facing a dire situation as officials warn of “certain financial collapse” within weeks. According to them, the only path forward to securing a rescue package is tied to the institution restoring the name of President Donald J. Trump to the complex, Deadline reported.
A draft board resolution, which was outlined in court documents on Monday, paints a grim picture of the current fiscal health of the center. The document states that the center is in such a precarious fiscal position that it will not be able to support its payroll obligations, nor routine maintenance contracts within a matter of weeks.
