Kendall Jenner says she 'doesn't want to be famous' at times amid anxiety struggles

Kendall Jenner has admitted there are times she wishes she could "stay out of the spotlight" amid her struggles with anxiety.

The 27-year-old model has been open about her mental health struggles and previously revealed she suffers from "very bad panic attacks".

Despite having moments when she dreams about not being famous, Kendall insisted she is "grateful" for everything she has and said she is proud of the person she has become.

In a new interview, the Kardashians star was asked about fame and if she ever wanted to "not be Kendall", even just for a moment.

"I've done a lot of work to come to love myself. But yeah, I definitely had moments where I wished I could stay out of the spotlight for a couple of hours. Having said that, I am extremely grateful for what I have," she replied.

She added that she has done a lot of work on herself "mentally and emotionally" over the years.

"Every year I find myself a little more, I like this process. Life takes many folds and you never know where you will be in the future. I can only hope to be happy and continue my journey of becoming the best version of myself," Kendall told Vogue Italia.

The reality star, who also has an addiction to social media, offered advice to fans who are suffering from poor mental health.

"Progress in mental health takes time and you need to continue practicing healthy habits to reach your goal," she insisted.

Kendall started suffering from anxiety when she was around eight-years-old.

She previously admitted she suffered from shortness of breath, which she now knows was linked to her mental health issues.

However, said she can "handle anything" now and has become a "strong" person after deciding to work on her mental health.

The TV personality has previously taken to Instagram to list the habits she has adopted to make herself feel better, in the hope of helping her fans who might suffer from anxiety.

"I do 10 deep inhales/exhales before even touching my phone.

"I went in my yard and journaled. I wrote down all the things i’m looking forward to today/this month. I expressed gratitude for all of my blessings.

"I took in the sun. I had my tea and practiced some more deep breathing. Give it a try. I’m optimistic about my day ahead and you should be too! love you," she encouraged.
