Kemar Roofe admits his return from injury has been 'far from smooth' but that he is keen to get more minutes for Rangers.
The luckless striker has faced a long period on the sidelines for Rangers but returned to win the Viaplay Cup semi-final in extra time against Aberdeen. Roofe suffered a further knock in that Hampden clash but is keen to show Michael Beale that he is available for selection as they continue their unbeaten run.
It was high drama at Ibrox against the Jags with two penalties awarded through VAR and the rare situation of Rangers allowing the opposition to score a free goal after Malik Tillman had capitalised on a moment when Partick were due to give the ball back. But Roofe who played the full second half admits it wasn't 'smooth' but that he's glad to be back on the pitch.

He said on Instagram: "Far from a smooth night but we are into the next round and minutes in the legs. Support was top tier as always."
Beale has options in attack with Croatian Antonio Colak also back in action. The 29-year-old was back with a goal in the cup and could push Alfredo Morelos for competition for places.
