Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure got off to a rocky start with some viewers as they accused the show of 'sexism' over a remark made by one of its cast.
Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has swapped the glamour of showbiz for the muck and mud of farming life on BBC One.
But some viewers picked up on what they said was a 'sexist' comment on the show while others accused the BBC of copying the success of Clarkson's Farm.

During tonight's opening episode, Kelvin questioned whether he had made the right decision in buying the 120 acre farm on the edge of the Peak District, but dived straight into the action.
Kelvin and family are already a month into their new farming life and are starting to make the farm their home.
While bringing the farm back to its former working glory Kelvin quickly realised that his lack of experience is making things a lot more difficult.
However, he had the help of no-nonsense next-door and sheep farmer neighbour, Gilly.
Neighbour Gilly got stuck in with Kelvin and Liz, sharing her experience to help the young couple.
Before investing in their own livestock Gilly let the pair help with her flock of sheep, but the harsh reality of farming life soon hit home.
Gilly didn’t hold back and made Kelvin do the worst jobs including shaving a dirty sheep's bum.
Without a doubt, Kelvin claimed his stomach couldn’t take it and asked: “Am I really going to cut his bum? - You are literally giving me the s**t job aren’t you.”
Liz stood beside him and could help but burst into laughter as Kelvin added: “Aww it stinks.”
Gilly quickly jumped in and said: “Oh come on, don't be such a girl.”
Viewers picked up on the comment and accused Gilly of being sexiest. As expected they went straight to social media to share their opinions.
@AvisSays Tweeted: “#KelvinsBigFarmingAdventure ‘Don’t be such a girl!’ How dare you suggest being like a girl is an insult. Shame on you BBC1.”
@Melonhead999 commented: “Seems a bit sexist #KelvinsBigFarmingAdventure.”
@fermermarrs added: "That neighbour would do my head #KelvinsBigFarmingAdventure."
Before the show was broadcast many compared it to the Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm and during the first episode viewers accused the BBC show of copying Jeremy Clarkson.
@haydnschofield raged: “Oh dear. Talk about jumping on the @JeremyClarkson bandwagon. Why Oh why did @BBCOne commission this? We can’t help but compare and then surmise “what utter crap”. And why is it being narrated? #KelvinsBigFarmingAdventure.”
@copshire added: “BBC executives “We need something to rival Clarkson’s Farm on Netflix, but we can’t be seen to be copy cats. Anyone got any ideas?” BBC Intern: #KelvinsBigFarmingAdventure.”
