Kelsey Parker says she'll 'never be same again after trauma beyond anyone's imagination'

Widow Kelsey Parker has opened up about how she is coping following the tragic death of her partner Tom Parker, and says she'll 'never be the same again'.

Kelsey lost husband Tom, singer in The Wanted, in March after he was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer. The pair share two young children, three year old Aurelia and two year old Bodhi.

Kelsey has shared the heartbreaking grief and journey after Tom's death in her ITVBe documentary, 'Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom'. In the latest episode she describes losing Tom as 'trauma beyond what anyone could imagine'.

32-year-old Kelsey has been open about her struggle since losing Tom, and even shared an insight into what their first Christmas without him would be like for her family.

In her documentary, Kelsey describes living with the loss of Tom as she said: "Of course I'm not OK, I'm never going to be the Kelsey I was two years ago and that's just it.

"The trauma I've suffered is beyond anything anyone could imagine."

In the fifth part of her documentary, which has had viewers in tears as they watch Kelsey and her young family, Kelsey discusses the pain of not getting to grow old with Tom.

During a therapy session on the programme, she said: "All I wanted was to be with Tom, grow old together, sitting on a bench eating bread rolls.

"When we'd go out we'd be like 'that will be us eating fish and chips on a bench'.

"This isn't what I thought my life was going to be and that upsets me because I wanted that so much.

"This is my - not new life - but this is my life and I'm getting on with it."

Kelsey and Tom were together for 13 years, and the documentary sees Kelsey admit she's 'jealous' of other widows who got to have up to 60 years with their husbands before their deaths.

She said: "I don't think there's any age for it to be easier to lose a partner.

"Some of them had been together for 60 years. You lose that partner and I guess that must be absolutely heart-wrenching.

"There's never a good age to lose your partner, your best friend and the love of your life."

In November it was reported that Kelsey had started dating electrician Sean Boggans, 39, eight months after Tom's death in March.

A source told the MailOnline said: "It's very early days and no-one knows what the future will bring, but for now, Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life."

When asked on the show about moving on and if she thought Tom would be 'happy' to see her move on, Kelsey responded: "We didn't really have those conversations but, knowing Tom, I feel like he would be happy for me.

"He'd just want me to be happy. And I'm so young."
