Kelsea Ballerini hosted the 2024 CMT Music Awards with enthusiasm, marking her fourth consecutive year as the host. The event took place at Austin's Moody Center on Sunday, April 7. Ballerini, 30, kicked off the show with a lively opening monologue, expressing her delight at being chosen to host once again.
During her monologue, Ballerini referenced her 2023 single 'Blindsided,' specifically the line 'Yeah, sure, OK,' which has become a fan favorite. The song is part of her EP titled Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, which delves into her divorce from country singer Morgan Evans. Evans responded musically with his own track, 'Over You,' reflecting on the end of their marriage.
