Country star Kelsea Ballerini has broken her silence after an on-stage incident took place while she was performing for a crowd of fans.
On June 28, the HEARTFIRST singer was struck in the face by an object thrown on-stage while touring America and singing a string of hits in Idaho.
This follows on from a string of on-stage attacks that has seen Ava Max slapped while performing, Bebe Rexha hit with an object while on-stage, and P!NK thrown a bag of somebody's ashes while performing in London.
Earlier this week Kelsea performed on-stage in Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, with chaos soon to arise.
Crooning her fan-favourite hit If You Go Down (I'm Going Down Too), the 29-year-old country star was hit in the face with what was originally thought to be an "unidentified object" by someone in the crowd.
It was later revealed, by Kelsea herself, that the object was in fact a bracelet that was lobbed on-stage by a fan.
Addressing the incident online, Kelsea explained how "someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eyes," with her adding: "and it more so just scared me than hurt me."
She then noted that following the incident she was "fine," adding: "We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that's why I walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe to continue."
She concluded her message with: "That's all I ever want, is for shows to feel like a safe place for us all. I love you and appreciate all of the concern."
But then cruel trolls took it upon themselves to brand her as "soft" for reacting to the incident.
Kelsea clapped back at the trolls when she said that it's "a sad, scary world we live in."
The blonde beauty, who is going from strength to strength with her glowing music career, was married to fellow country star Morgan Evans, 38.
The pair were wed for almost five years before she filed for divorce from him in August 2022.
In January 2023, Kelsea and Chase Stokes first sparked romance rumours after the Netflix heartthrob shared a snap of the pair cuddled up together at a basketball game.
The pair then kept things low-key until Kelsea appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, with the Hole In The Bottle singer confirming that she was no longer single.
And on April 2, the couple seemingly "hard launched" - as per Kelsea's Instagram story the following day - when they walked their first red carpet as a couple at the CMT Awards.
Since then the couple are loud and proud about their romance, with him even joining her on-stage a couple of weeks ago, as well as him flying out to see her despite their separate commitments.
