Singer Kelly Jones has delighted fans with a major Stereophonics update. The Welshman took to social media to address his followers and promised big things in the future.
He said in a video message: "I'm just checking in, on the way to the gym, it's been a good few months and I just wanted to let you all know that I've been making lots of music, some of which will be for a record of my own and some of which will become Stereophonic stuff, which we are excited to probably do at some point next year and into the following year.
"So we've got some good plans ahead and for all you people that have been following the band from the beginning, thank you for all your support, and all you people who've come on board now thank you as well it's been amazing."

Speaking about his project, Far From Saints, which is made up of Kelly and Austin's Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker of The Wind and The Wave, the singer continued: "I've been enjoying doing some new projects with the Far From Saints stuff.
"Not to worry if you are a hardcore Stereophonics fan that we will be doing some new things over the course of time and all the boys are doing well. And stay tuned and I hope to bring you some new music that I've been working on also."
He signed off by saying: "Enjoy your day and summer and I shall check in and out when and if it feels appropriate. I'm not a big social media type of person really, so just know that music is being made, art is being made and it will come to you when the times are right."
Responding, one fan wrote: "Good update Kelly, been with you since the beginning and always will be," while another added: "Great to hear new stuff is on the horizon. Look forward to hearing it."
As a third comment said: "Legend. Can't wait," as a fourth said: "New Stereophonics music, new solo music, wow, you have been busy. Looking forward to seeing you guys live again next year I hope.."
