Kelly Clarkson has officially changed her name, three weeks after finalising her divorce settlement with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
The singer and chat show host, 39, has been granted her name change to Kelly Briane by a judge on Monday.
According to Us Weekly, court documents state: "There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted. The Decree is signed and filed. The Petitioner’s name is changed from KELLY BRIANNE CLARKSON to KELLY BRIANNE."
In February, Kelly filed to change her legal name, reportedly saying at the time that she wanted to go by her first and middle name because it "more fully reflects who [she is]".
Speaking to PEOPLE earlier this month, she further explained her reasoning behind the name change.
She said: "I just got divorced, so I had to drop my married last name. I just kept my middle name for my personal life. I’m still Kelly Clarkson."
It comes after the American Idol winner was granted primary custody of her two children with Brandon, River Rose, seven, and Remington, five, earlier this month.
Brandon, 45, will have the youngsters one weekend a month for the time being according to the settlement.
The singer also keeps the couple's Montana ranch, but Brandon has been granted permission to stay there until June 1, as long as he pays $12.5k each month in rent according to TMZ.
It's reported that the settlement will have to be reevaluated if Brandon leaves Montana.
He had originally challenged Kelly's prenup, but the judge has affirmed its validity, meaning the songstress' reported $20 million per year wage remains entirely hers.
Brandon's settlement is said to see him receive $115k every month in spousal support until January 2024.
He is also set to receive $45.6k each month in child support to ensure the kids live comfortably during their stay with him.
As well as these monthly payments, Brandon is set to be paid a lump sum of $1.3 million as part of the settlement.
