Australia’s golden couple, and king and queen of loving loudly, Abbie Chatfield and Keli Holiday, have clapped back at all the haters who’ve sent them hate for all their lovey-dovey posts.
Since hard-launching their relationship in 2024, the pair have constantly shared content where you can feel their love oozing through the screen.
In fact, their love for each other is so bloody strong that Keli’s song “Dancing2” — a track dedicated to Abbie — has become an anthem of loving loudly and has also won an ARIA in 2025.
But unfortunately, where there’s love, there’s tad bit of bitter hate. Alongside comments of support and well-wishes for their relationship, the pair have also become a target for online trolls who’ve labelled Keli a “cuck”.
And for those who don’t know what that means, Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary defines cuck as “a weak or submissive man”.
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV at the 2025 ARIA Awards red carpet, the power couple slammed the online backlash over their PDA posts, with the Peking Duk member saying he finds the hate “hilarious”.

“If I were to write something on someone’s video that I don’t know, telling them they suck, I’d turn around and look at myself in the mirror and cry,” Keli said.
“Maybe they’re doing that, maybe they’re not, but I think it’s sad, and they can do it if they want to. I don’t really give a shit.”
Abbie dished on the hate she’s copped since posting Keli, stating that men in particular have accused her of controlling him in their relationship.
“There was a video recently where the guy was just watching a video of us, didn’t make any comments, except he paused it, and he goes — in his little room with his little LED lights, and his little followers, it’s so cute — And he goes, ‘We are watching the destruction of a man at the hands of Abbie Chatfield,'” Abbie told PT.V. before Keli added, “They think that she’s holding me captive”.
“They think loving your girlfriend makes you a weak man, apparently,” Abbie continued.
“Yeah, if you’re weak to love loudly, then call me a piss ant ‘cos I’m weak as shit,” Keli added.
Keli Holiday and Abbie Chatfield slam the cuck comments, specifically “Peking Cuck”
Further in our red carpet chat with the dynamic duo, both Abbie and Keli described the cuck comments — specifically the “Peking Cuck” comments — as “a good play on words”.
“It’s great. It’s hilarious. I mean, a good play on words. 10 out of 10,” Keli said before Abbie jumped, stating it’s “so funny”.
“I don’t know why they think it’s an insult. Yeah, I really don’t. Why do they care if he is a cuck? I think they’re all little cucks, and they’re ashamed of their own cuckdom,” Abbie added.
“You should be proud to be a cuck. Yeah, I mean, it’s like your compersion. It’s actually a very loving thing to do, to be a cuck. It actually is the ultimate form of love. Yeah. I get horny seeing you horny.”
Keli said he believed the whole cuck rhetoric also reflected the rise of Donald Trump fans.
“I think it also comes from like the whole Trump rhetoric thing, right? Like people started — heavy right-wingers were using the word cuck a lot,” Keli added.
As someone who is a lover girl through and through, it’s absolutely buckwild for people (ONLINE people BTW) to crash out over other people’s relationships.
Kudos to Abbie and Keli for making us believe in love one more time!
