Keith Duffy addresses rumours he'll return to Corrie with ANOTHER former star

Keith Duffy joined Loose Women on Tuesday along with his Boyzlife bandmate Brian McFadden but Denise Welch couldn't help but tease the former Coronation Street star on whether he'd return to the ITV soap.

The Irish actor, who was a member of Boyzone, appeared in Coronation Street as barman Ciaran McCarthy between 2002 and 2005 before returning five years later.

Boyzlife appeared on Loose Women to discuss their latest tour but former Corrie star Denise quizzed Keith on returning to the cobbles.

"It's the question everybody asks, 'Would you go back?' For your character, there is space for him to go back," the actress said.

"Yes," Keith replied. "He's gone back two or three times since he left. It's very much open, I left in a black cab going down the cobbles."

Denise remarked that her character also left in a black cab as Keith quipped: "Maybe we go back in together!"

"Maybe we do!" Denise said as Keith joked the pair could return to Weatherfield in a black cab.

Elsewhere, on Tuesday's show, the Loose Women panel announced the show is set to embark on its first ever live tour.

Loose Women Live will take in 16 theatres across England, Scotland and Wales including a date at the London Palladium.

The tour promises laughter, hot topics, fun and surprises - as the Loose Women stars share their stories and secrets live and in person.

Loose Women Editor Sally Shelford said: "We’re delighted the show is hitting the road for the first time with Loose Women Live! Having a live audience is such an important part of Loose Women and we can’t wait to be able to bring the show directly to our viewers in this way.”

Jamie Lambert, Lambert Jackson CEO, added: “I am very excited that we are able to take this much-loved show on the road this autumn with Loose Women Live and can’t wait to see the brilliant panellists in action on stage!”
