Keith Barry has perfect response to online trolls who describe his new RTE show as 'nonsense'

Mentalist Keith Barry has defended himself on social media after some RTE viewers slammed his new show as "nonsense".

The new show from the Irish hypnotist, The Keith Barry Experience, aired on RTE One on Saturday night.

During the show, Saturday's star Una Healy made an appearance and Keith conducted a trick with her using a pendulum.

He then got Una to think of a private question she wanted answered and the pendulum responded by swinging in a certain direction of its own accord - with the pattern of the swing determining the answer.

Following the trick, Keith whispered a prediction in Una's ear that shocked her and made people at home wonder what he had said.

But the show wasn't to the taste of some viewers who took to social media to slate the star.

One person wrote on Twitter: "I can’t believe that taxpayers money is being spent on this nonsense.."

However, Keith had the perfect response as he wrote back: "Sending you positive vibes!"

Another foul-mouthed troll wrote: "How the f*** did this k*** end get a show"

Meanwhile Keith replied again, writing: "Sending positivity #keithbarry"

And in another Twitter exchange, a viewer decided he had enough of the show and wrote: "F** this Magic RTE1 time for Netflix"

Keith responded: "[Thanks] for the feedback! ....appreciate you giving the show a shot! #keithbarry"

The man replied: "There’s plenty that will like it Keith just not for me Sorry"

Keith wrote: "No problem at all! Hope you watch something good on Netflix! #keithbarry"

However, many others enjoyed the show with one impressed viewer writing: "Amazing show, Im shocked after playing along at home with that last bit and everything he said after I thought off in my mind."
