The Prime Minister has told the nation a “dangerous new era” forced his decision to begin the "biggest sustained increase" in defence spending since the Cold War.
The UK’s defence bill will rise to 2.5% of GDP by 2027 - an increase of £13.4billlion every year, Sir Keir Starmer announced earlier in the Commons.
