Keeneland officials said the just-concluded spring meet generated a record $224 million at all betting outlets. According to a news release, it was the fifth year in a row the racecourse saw an increase in all-sources wagering. At the track, the Lexington gem recorded almost $16 million in wagering, down a bit from last year’s nearly $16.2 million. Saturday, Keeneland will once again be open for Kentucky Derby Day festivities – without most of the congestion of Churchill Downs.
