Duane 'Keefe D' Davis has been sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for orchestrating the 1996 murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur, bringing one of hip-hop's most notorious cold cases to a dramatic conclusion nearly three decades after the shooting.
Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny handed down the sentence in Las Vegas on Tuesday, 13 October, after Davis, 63, was convicted in August of first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
