Keanu Reeves has been photographed kissing girlfriend Alexandra Grant on the red carpet in an unusual display of affection from the couple. Keanu, 58, and Alexandra, 50, were snapped snogging while out in Los Angeles to celebrate the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala.
Alexandra affectionately leaned into her boyfriend and planted a kiss on his lips as they posed on the red carpet. The pair are believed to have first met in 2009 before officially getting together in 2019, reports the Mirror.
The 58-year-old actor, who is notoriously private, gave an insight into his private life in a recent interview. He said: "My last moment of bliss was a couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together."
However the John Wick actor recently admitted he thinks he and actress Winona Ryder, 51, "could have been married for 30 years". The pair were married on screen in the film Bram Stoker's Dracula, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, in 1992.
In an interview with Esquire, Reeves said: “We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests. Winona says we are [married]. Coppola says we are. So, I guess we’re married under the eyes of God.”
Winona also spoke about their ‘marriage’ before, telling Entertainment Weekly: “We actually got married in ‘Dracula’. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So, I think we’re married.”
Keanu is currently promoting his new film, John Wick: Chapter 4. In one interview with Good Morning Britain, viewers were left cringing when host Richard Arnold hosted a tense interview. Richard quizzed the star about a stunt in the film. Keanu was seen rolling his eyes at Richard before answering the question.
"Does that come naturally to you? I can't even reverse park," Richard joked before a baffled Keanu replied: "Yes you can". Things appeared awkward between the pair when Richard added: "Well I don't even own a car so that's probably why."
Keanu was then seen pulling a funny face and rolling his eyes as he looked away from the host with an exasperated expression.
Twitter users were quick to give their opinions on the awkward exchange. One wrote: "Keanu Reeves can't seem to fathom that people in London don't need to own a car to get around lol."
