All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Dasoju Shravan said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao staging a deeksha in Delhi is nothing but an attempt to grab power for the third time in Telangana using the farmers as a pawn.
“Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao has conspired to deceive farmers in the name of dharna in Delhi. The TRS, in power in the State, and the BJP, in power at the Centre are holding dharnas. Then who will resolve the issue?” asked Mr Shravan while speaking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday.
“Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao knows the rules of paddy purchase. But he agreed to the conditions laid by the Centre in the past. If he is honest, IKP centers should be set up and procurement should start. Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao is staging a drama instead of doing this,” he said adding that sitting next to Rakesh Tikait at deeksha was showing opportunistic politics of Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao.
