Kaye Adams looked rather squeamish as she brought Loose Women to an abrupt end on Friday, having been left 'horrified' by a remark from guest Michaela Strachan.
Strictly 2022 star Kaye was at the helm of the popular lunchtime show as it aired its fifth and final episode of the week, in its usual 12.30 slot. As she was joined by ITV colleagues Nadia Sawalha, Sunetra Sarker and Jane Moore, Kate led discussions on everything from Eurovision to the pane's dirty habits and, for the final part of the programme, they were all joined by TV host and Really Wild Show legend Michaela Strachan.
The much loved star appeared on Loose Women to talk about her long standing TV double act with her former Really Wild Show co-star and fellow nature expert Chris Packham and share her experiences from hosting Springwatch. Kaye raised the subject of people really getting into their walking during Covid, particularly the first lengthy lockdown and how that seemed to spark a 'greater appreciation' for the outside and awareness of nature.

In agreement Michaela replied: "Covid really reignited people's passion for wildlife on their patch, because were people spending so much more time on their own patch and also taking notice. People weren't getting the bus, the Tube and things; they were walking and they would notice the seasons changing and pay attention to what's around them."
As her interview drew to a close, Kaye asked Michael: "As a nature girl, do you like a bit of dirt?" That question led to Michaela talking about how she once did some filming in a zoo, explaining: "I was filming in a zoo and forgot to wash my hands and I nded up with a worm under my skin," as her story prompted gasps from the audience.
Interjecting to bring proceedings to a halt, a shocked Kaye responded: "What a way to end the show! That's what you call a cliff-hanger!" After thanking Michaela, she added: "The best end ever!"
