With one eye firmly on the Paris Olympics, Jessica Fox has once again delivered on the international stage, paddling to gold in the women's kayak final at the World Cup in Krakow, Poland.

It was a fourth World Cup medal for Fox in three weeks as Australia's kayak queen continues to build towards the Games.

The 30-year-old, whose younger sister Noemie this week earned her own place in Paris for the kayak cross event, qualified for the final in fourth place after comfortably winning her heat.

She finished a blistering run in the medal race ahead of Spain's Maialen Chourraut, with Ria Sribar of the USA in third.

"I'm really happy with the way I raced," Fox said.

"It's a great way to finish off this first block of World Cup racing.

"We've really built into it over the past few weeks.

"We've got a bit of a break until Paris and an opportunity to get some good training in on the course.

"I'm just really happy with how the build-up to the Games has been going."
