Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to return on TV with its 14th season. The makers and the host have announced the show’s comeback with a new season in a promo out on social media.
In the promo, a young rural couple is seen lying on a cot on a moonlit night. The husband is seen promising to take his wife to Switzerland someday, buy a big house, and provide the best education for their kids. The wife blushes and cheers up after listening to his promises. However, years go by and the couple is seen lying on the same cot in their old age in a similar situation. The husband once again promises his wife the same things but she doesn’t seem even a bit pleased this time around.
This scene is followed by Amitabh Bachchan’s voiceover. He suggests that dreaming big and being happy about the big dreams isn’t enough. The actor further encourages to fulfil those big dreams with his words. “Sapne dekh ke khush mat hojaiye. Unhe poora karne ke liye phone uthaiye. 9 April, raat 9 baje se shuru horahe hain mere sawaal aur aapke KBC registrations ((Don't be satisfied just by dreaming your dreams. Pick up your phones and make them come true. I am coming back with my questions from April 9, at 9 pm and KBC registrations are opening).”

Kaun Banega Crorepati has been airing on TV since 2000. Last year, the show celebrated the milestone of 1000 episodes with host Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda onboard.
Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting the show ever since its inception, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
