Chantelle Cameron has told Katie Taylor there are can be 'no more excuses' as she eyes a Croke Park showdown with the Bray Bomber in 2023.
The Northampton native became the undisputed super lightweight champion last weekend with a unanimous decision victory over American Jessica McCaskill in Abu Dhabi.
Cameron put in one of the best performances of her career as McCaskill struggled to get going for much of the contest.

Immediately after the victory, Cameron stated that she would like to move up in weight to challenge for McCaskill's undisputed welterweight belts.
But she has since called for a Croke Park bout with Taylor, tweeting on Monday: "March 17th Croke Park Katie Taylor Undisputed v Undisputed If the Serrano rematch don’t happen. I’ll be free."
She has since expanded on those comments, stating that she can no longer be denied a shot at Taylor.
Cameron told the BBC: "I think the fight makes sense now. I'm undisputed at 140, she's undisputed at 135, there's no more excuses. Before I wasn't a world champion... this and that, whereas now I'm a world champion, I was unified world champion, now I'm undisputed. I think I've proved myself that I'm worthy of fighting Katie Taylor.
"She's boxed people that haven't had those credentials and there's been nothing said. It's just the fight has happened whereas with me it's always been 'she's got to do this, she's got to do that, this and that' whereas now what's left? I've done it so now we can fight."
Taylor has also expressed her interest in moving up in weight to try and become a two-weight undisputed champion, although a rematch with Serrano remains her top choice.
But it is understood that given the good old Irish weather that next May is the realistically the earliest time that Croke Park could host a massive outdoor boxing event.
Speaking prior to Cameron's win over McCaskill, Taylor said after her own victory against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal: "I have no problem in stepping up and facing either of those girls. I obviously fought Jessica and beat her before [in 2017] and I fought Chantelle as an amateur boxer as well. So I have no problem going up and facing either one of them. That would be a fantastic fight."
