Katie Price viciously hits out at Instagram user who mocked the death of her dogs

Katie Price has lashed out at an Instagram follower who highlighted her unfortunate record of welcoming animals into her life only for the pets to perish.

The 43-year-old mother-of-five has something of a history of taking dogs and horses into her care – only for them to die or given away.

Katie’s 32-yeaar-old fiancé, Carl Woods, took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of himself with an adorable and tiny dog resting on his shoulder.

The one-time Love Island contestant and the teeny black chihuahua were looking towards the camera together while Carl lounged back on a cream coloured sofa.

Katie Price clapped back at an Instagram user who commented under a photo of Carl Woods posing with his puppy (Instagram)

He shared the snap along with the simple caption: “Little Geeza” – with Katie herself responding to the post with a string of red heart emojis.

However, one follower hit out at the former glamour model and her record relating to pets.

They savagely wrote in response to Carl’s post: “Make sure Katie doesn't let another animal die.”

The comment attracted the attention of Katie who viciously snapped back: “who the f**k are you little prick.”

Not backing down, however, the follower replied: “Just a concerned animal lover who knows your terrible record.”

Others rounded on Katie, with one sarcastically writing: “Classy as ever,” along with an eye-rolling emoji – while a further follower comment: “so much for no drama in 2022, you create more drama than all the soaps put together.”

Katie was defended by some other followers, but the original comment didn’t back down as some accused him of being a troll.

Responding to his own criticism, the Instagram user wrote: “I said something as a genuine concerned animal lover, she has a bad record you can't defend that.”

Fans were distraught in July 2020 when Katie announced that a puppy named Rolo had died just one month after being welcomed into Katie’s home.

The pooch – who was a gift for Katie’s teenage daughter Princess, now 14 – was found dead in the family home by Harvey’s carer with the death described as “an accident”.

In February that same year, another one of Katie’s dogs, named Sparkle, was mowed down and killed when it escaped from her grounds and ran onto a busy road.

While back in 2018, a fog called Queenie died after being hit by a delivery van.

In September last year, Katie gave away one of her other dogs, a French bulldog called Precious, 10 months after she was gifted the animal by Carl to mark their six month anniversary – with the dog being awarded to a TV producer friend.

Horses have not fared much better while owned by Katie – with one animal being kit by traffic and killed on the busy A24 when it escaped from her grounds in 2017.

Animal rights group PETA have argued the star should be banned from owning any pets, with PETA director, Elisa Allen, previously telling The Sun: "Given her track record with animals, several of whom have died in her 'care', it would be irresponsible and reckless for Katie to be allowed to acquire another one.

"And any breeder willing to sell to her is clearly putting profit over the animals' welfare."
