Katie Price is selling a pair of old Gucci trainers online for £170 as she scrambles to generate funds ahead of a bankruptcy hearing.
The self-proclaimed animal lover has listed the footwear - adorned with real lambs' hair- among a large haul of items she has been selling on fashion marketplace app Depop. The former glamour model has accrued more than £1,700 flogging items on the app over the last two months, according to The Sun.
The mother-of-five, who was once believed to be worth £45 million, is selling items from her wardrobe second-hand in an attempt to clear her debts. She was declared bankrupt in 2019.
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here campmate has been forced to pay back £12,000 a month to creditors via an individual voluntary arrangement following her bankruptcy.
And Price has fallen foul of animal rights campaigners before. More than 20,000 people have signed a petition, launched in 2021, demanding that she be issued with a lifetime ban on owning pets.
The online petition was launched after the 43-year-old's French bulldog, Rolo, died. The carer of Price's eldest son, Harvey, found the dog after it got stuck under an armchair.
The petition gathered momentum when Price reportedly gave away a puppy she had originally purchased for her daughter, Princess. She is said to have given away the pooch to a crew member on her last TV programme. The puppy, called Precious, was a present for Princess following Rolo's death.
