Katie Price surprised holidaymakers as she screeched her way through a classic Whitney Houston track on karaoke in Thailand.
The 43-year-old is currently enjoying a romantic break with fiancé Carl Woods, 33, and on Sunday, she headed to a karaoke bar to show off her singing skills.
However, onlookers were stunned as Katie screeched her way through Whitney’s best-selling 1987 hit I Wanna Dance With Somebody, as the 330yearold ex-Love Island star looked on adoringly.
Mum-of-five Katie enthusiastically performed the iconic 80s track, offering up the microphone to shocked patrons in the bar as she asked them to join in and provide her with backing vocals.
Dressed in a black Moschino t-shirt and matching shorts, the model and author finished off the laidback outfit with a pair of yellow fluffy slippers, and had her hair braided into two pigtails.
She managed to coerce the karaoke bar assistant into singing along with her, and was given a round of applause as her routine came to an end.
The couple have been spotted enjoying the sights and sounds of Thailand as they jetted off on the sun-soaked holiday after a tumultuous few months, which saw Katie avoid jail time after a drunk drive smash last year.
She’s previously pursued an unsuccessful music career, and last year, she told Steven Leng and Bobby Norris on Fubar's Access All Areas podcast that she’s keen to prove her critics wrong.
“If you don't want to hear it, don't tap on and listen!” she fired.
“Obviously I muck about on Instagram. And when I say I want to be on The Masked [Singer], I want to be on The Voice, then everyone takes the mickey out of me saying, ‘oh shut up Kate. You really think you can sing?’”
“I'm like, yeah, I can actually. And they're like, ‘well, I dunno what you hear,’” she sadly shared.
Katie has even forked out on her own recording studio so she can develop her singing skills, and promised to share her efforts on YouTube.
“I've now bought myself a studio for YouTube. So I'm going to do my like karaoke versions, acoustic versions of songs I want to do,” she said.
Back in 2005, Katie made a bid to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest while pregnant with son Junior, and just one year later, she and then-husband Peter Andre released their duet album A Whole New World, which was panned by critics.
She tried to crack the charts again in 2017, releasing a single called I Got U, and in 2020, she released a track called Heartbroken.
