Katie Price's son Junior Andre performs song for family during special Jubilee party

Junior Andre danced along to his debut single at a family party to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee earlier, with his mother Katie Price among the attendees at the event.

The singer, 16, has been teasing new music to his fans for some time, with his debut release - a track titled Slide - having been previewed on social media last month.

Ahead of its release, he performed to the song in front of family members at a garden party today, held in celebration of the Queen having been on the throne for 70 years.

Footage of his musical performance was posted on the Instagram account of his mum Katie, 44, this evening - shared with her 2.7 million followers on the platform.

It shows Junior dancing and mouthing along to his debut single, with him wearing a off-white tracksuit in the video and sporting a pair of headphones around his neck.

The footage is understood to have been filmed in his grandmother Amy Price's garden, with union jack bunting visible in the background as he performed the song.

Amy and other relatives were watching the performance from an outdoor seating area, with her expressing pride in the video. Amy is heard saying that she's "very proud".

Katie posted other updates from the party, including a photo of the family - which featured her, mum Amy, sister Sophie Price, 32, and other relatives at the "special" event.

Junior is following in the footsteps of his dad Peter Andre, 49, who enjoyed a successful music career from the mid-1990s onwards - like with the chart-topping Mysterious Girl.

Peter spoke about his son pursuing the same career in a column last year, saying he has encouraged Junior to co-write tracks as he believes being a songwriter is "important".

The I'm a Celebrity alum - who was married to Katie from 2005 to 2009 - previously said that he felt "very lucky" to be helping his eldest child Junior with his music career.
