Katie Price’s sister Sophie has issued fans with an update on her son Albert’s health after the tot was rushed to hospital over the weekend.
Sophie, 32, told her Instagram followers that her young son had went under the knife, after a worrying number of months and eight 'scary' trips to A&E.
The brave mum took to her stories to let her fans know that her little boy, Albert, was back on the mend after his small operation as she was prioritising getting him back to his full health.
"I've just got back from the hospital with Albert. He's all fine, he just had to have a little op this morning, and luckily everything is fine so we're back home now so that's good," Sophie shared.
"Yeah I'm so tired, we were at the hospital at 7.30 this morning, and I've been up since half two this morning. Been awake, basically – just thinking about hospital stuff. But it's fine, everything is good now.
"I can stop worrying. I've just put him down in his bedroom so he can have a little sleep, and I can have a cup of tea."
It comes one month after Sophie first revealed that Albert was suffering with health issues.
"Please no more croup, viruses, or bugs! Please let us have a December with no trips to A&E (we've had 8 in the last month or so, and a few nights in hospital to top it off), or antibiotics," Katie's younger sister shared.
Sophie welcomed Albert back in May 2021.
When sharing the news of his arrival, she took to social media to share a picture of his teeny hand alongside the caption: "We're finally home. Harry, me and our little Albert."
Celebrating the arrival of her nephew, Katie Price gushed: "So proud of my sister @sophie_pricey and Harry unfortunately I wasn't able to be at the hospital because of Covid but were with them all the way through!
"I love you Sophie and Harry and my gorgeous nephew Albert welcome to the parent world and lack of sleep."
In June 2022, Sophie tied the knot with longterm partner, Harry Brooks.
