Katie Price's phone seized by police as family 'beg her to return to rehab'

Police have seized Katie Price ’s phone as her family have begged for her to return to rehab.

Cops probing the alleged threats to Kieran Haylor ’s fiancé have confiscated the 43-year-old's mobile to look for evidence.

Investigating officers are looking for a “fuller picture” of any alleged abusive messages directed towards Kieran's partner Michelle Pentecost.

The former glamour model and Mucky Mansion star was arrested on Friday and escorted 12 miles from her luxury home in Horsham to Worthing police station, West Sussex, writes The Mirror.

Sources say she was very emotional when Sussex Police took away her phone during the 12-hour interrogation before being released on Saturday afternoon.

A source said: “She was informed it had been seized for evidence and cops gave no indication if it would be returned. She was distraught.”

Katie could serve a prison sentence after allegedly breaching a restraining order banning her from contacting Michelle.

She is said to have sent a deeply offensive message about Michelle to Kieran. She is currently banning from contacting Michelle “directly or indirectly”.

She is already serving a suspended sentence for drink-driving. And any restraining order breach could also violate the terms of the suspended sentence - meaning a possible jail stretch.

Police interviewed Kieran, 34, and 39-year-old Michelle at their home before taking Katie into custody overnight.

It comes as Katie’s family are increasingly worried about her erratic behaviour and are urging her to seek help.

She has previously undergone treatment at The Priory for depression. And they want her to return to “sort her head out”.

A source said: “Her life is just so chaotic and all over the place. She needs a period of recalibration and rehab is the best option, currently.”

Last month, despite avoiding jail, Katie was given 100 hours of community service alongside a two-year driving ban and a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months at Crawley magistrates court last month.

The incident in September was Katie's sixth driving offence in a decade, however, she avoided spending Christmas behind bars.

Kieran Hayler and Michelle Penticost (PA)

Kieran’s partner Michelle was granted a five-year restraining order against Katie in 2019.

Katie, formerly known as 'Jordan', pleaded guilty to using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment.

Katie allegedly approached Michelle at the school gates while she was speaking to another parent and said: “You can kiss my daughter but you can’t say hello."

Michelle and Kieran, who now share a son, met at the school where their children are pupils.

At the hearing, Michelle did not attend but a victim statement was read out on her behalf after accusations that Katie repeatedly called her a “f***ing c***” outside of the school.

The statement said: “I’m still in a relationship with Mr Hayler. It is clear Miss Price has been poisoning their children’s view of me - saying I’m fat, I have a big a**e, that I hate mummy [Price].

“I’m anxious I may still see her and I just want to get outside the school as soon as possible.”

Katie and Kieran tied the knot in 2013 but called it quits a year later when Katie discovered that he had cheated on her with her pal of 20 years, Jane Pountney, and was enjoying a fling with another of her pals, Chrissy Thomas.
