Katie Price faces further heartbreak following the reported death of her dog Sharon.
The pet pooch, seen on the former glamour model's social media lying beside her, was struck by a vehicle after it escaped via an open gate, according to reports.
A mortified motorist is thought to have picked up the poor Pomeranian after it was struck off the A24, taking her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex.
Sharon is the sixth pet under the mum-of-five's care which has recently died and Katie, 44, is thought to be "in bits" after the horrifying ordeal, according to a source.
They told The Sun it was "rotten luck" that the pooch was reportedly struck on the main road following its unfortunate escape.
It comes amid a flurry of signatures on an online petition to get pets removed from Katie's care, calling for the reality star to be 'banned from buying animals'.
More than 24,000 people have signed the petition which claims Katie's pets are dying due to "lack of care" as campaign organisers say, "no more animals need to die".
Back in 2017, one of Katie's horses was killed after it was struck by a vehicle, a year after that a delivery driver ran over her Alsatian, Queenie.
Her pet Chameleon Marvin died of a "broken heart" that same year as her children Princess and Junior went to stay with their dad Peter Andre.
Katie's Alsatian Sparkle was struck by a car in 2020 and just months later her French Bulldog Rolo suffocated when the family's nanny sat on it.
She was also forced to give away her Alsatian, Bear, for attacking other animals.
Katie currently owns chihuahuas Captain, Buddy, Colin and Batman, and guard dog Blade, and is thought to be "devastated" about the petition against her owning animals.
It claims she had puppies which allegedly drowned in a "neglected swimming pool" as well as claiming one of her cats was "ripped" apart by her dogs.
Organisers say animals "just go missing" insider her Mucky Mansion "to been seen again".
The Mirror has contacted Katie's representatives for a comment.
The ordeal comes after Katie's fiancé Carl Woods announced their break-up and accused her on cheating on him.
Carl appeared to deny claims they are back on, after pictures emerged of them kissing and holding hands.
The former Love Island star, 34, who dated the former glamour model for two years before their split this week, took to Instagram to share some cryptic words.
In a cryptic post, he penned: "Unless it comes from me on my platform, it's bull****."
