Katie Price pled not guilty in court today as she faced allegations of harassing her ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancée through breaching her restraining order.
Katie allegedly called Michelle Penticost a "c***ing whore" and accused the pair of having an affair behind her back.
The mother of five elected for a trial at crown court while a plea and trial preparation hearing has been arranged for May at Lewes Crown court.
The former glamour model appeared at Crawley Magistrates this morning where she denied the charge of harassment and breach of her restraining order, writes The Mirror.
Katie was wearing her engagement ring from Carl Woods when she arrived at the court, and was dressed in a green top and gilet.
Her former husband Kieran's partner Michelle was granted a five-year restraining order against the 43-year-old in June 2019, where she was forbidden from contacting Michelle directly or indirectly.
The mum-of-five had launched a tirade at Michelle during a row on the school run in September 2018.
Prosecuting, Jon Karani said that on January 21, Katie sent Kieran a message, saying: "Tell your c***ing whore piece of s**t girlfriend not to start with me."
"She has a restraining order, she shouldn't try to antagonise me."
Katie also said she was sure Michelle wouldn't want people to find out "she was having an affair with you behind my back the gutter slag," the court was told.
The court heard the message was in response to an Instagram post by Michelle, related to her being "treated badly", but Michelle says that was not about Katie.
Defending, Joe Harrington said he would be using Katie's mental health as a defence.
It was also heard that Katie sent the message to a family member, saying: "I sent that to Kieran lol".
District Judge Amanda Kelly had previously placed Katie on conditional bail, ordering her not to contact Michelle directly or indirectly, other than handing over the children.
She told Katie: "You are really in grave danger of going to prison," and that she was "living dangerously".
Horsham JPs were told the reality star and author launched a foul-mouthed tirade at her Kieran’s new partner outside a primary school.
The restraining order was made after Katie - who shot to fame as a teen model under the name Jordan - pleaded guilty in June 2019 to using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment.
In September 2018, Katie was reported to have approached Michelle, at the school gates while she was speaking to another parent.
Katie is said to have exclaimed: “You can kiss my daughter but you can’t say hello."
