Katie Price has hinted that she should receive an MBE from the Queen after saying that "others have done less" than her to receive the honour.
The 43-year-old celebrity has featured on a BBC documentary with her eldest son Harvey, to talk about his experience with college as he transitions to adulthood. But over the years, the former glamour model has campaigned frequently for more stringent rules on trolling, after witnessing Harvey receive an abundance of abuse, reports The Mirror.
Speaking to The Guardian, Katie said: "I’m in the Houses of Parliament campaigning for better laws and opening up people’s eyes to life for people with disabilities. Honestly, I see others getting MBEs who’ve done less than me, and I think: why not me?"

She went on to say that people in the public eye who have children with complex needs are "starting to be more open".
"It wasn’t like that before," she said. "People didn’t like to admit it, as if they were ashamed. But I’ve always been so proud of Harvey. He’s not an embarrassment. He has plenty of qualities other people don’t. It’s as simple as that."
Katie also explained that not having Harvey at home with her has been difficult. Due to Harvey's disabilities - autism, partial blindness, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome - it had been tricky for Katie to find the right college for him.
They both eventually found the perfect home in the £350,000 per year college National Star in Cheltenham, where Harvey has been funded to live full-time.
"It’s a relief to not have the house totally destroyed every day, but it’s hard adjusting," she said. "I expect to hear his shouts and banging; to have our cuddles and kisses. It’s left a void in my life. I miss him, but you adapt."
Katie previously spoke about how Harvey loves being on camera.
"Harvey loves being on YouTube, Harvey loves filming himself," she said. "He’s like me – what you see is what you get. If he doesn’t want to be filmed one day, he’ll say ‘no, not today’, but then ten minutes later, he’ll want to be on film so that’s what it’s like. I'd never force him to do anything.
"He loves it, I showed him the programme back, and he sat there just listening and watching it for an hour. Now trust me, Harvey wouldn’t sit there and watch something for an hour – he was focused, and he just loved it after!
"I would love there to be another show all about Harvey and I think it’s important because there are so many parents that are afraid to go out, because they’re embarrassed, they think people will stare at them. I’m like get lost, embrace it – he's a credit to me, he’s amazing in every way; challenging and hard work yes, but also rewarding."
