Katie Price fans left underwhelmed by make-up masterclasses as she fails to sell out some dates
The former glamour model, 43, is currently on a tour of the UK with her make-up artist Fern Howe-Shepherd, as they offer fans a tutorial on how to achieve Katie’s look with her favourite cosmetic products.
She announced the dates earlier this year, but has failed to sell out the masterclass tour, and some of her fans have been left disappointed by the event, which is priced at £80 per ticket.
Katie recently flew up to Scotland, as she embarked on the Scottish leg of her make-up tour, and was left red-faced when just hours before the Edinburgh event was due to kick off on Thursday, tickets were still available.
Tickets for her masterclasses in Fife and Glasgow on Friday are also still available, and followers of the reality star were flabbergasted at the price of the event, which also features an opportunity to have a picture taken with the mum-of-five.
“Seriously, £80 to look like her? No thanks, I’ll pass,” one tweeted.
“More like, ‘how to filter your photos’ classes,” another commented.
While others were disgruntled at the price of the event amid the current rising bills and cost of living crisis.
“Be nice to see her donate some to the poor and deprived areas,” one suggested, adding that Katie could lower the price for those struggling to afford to tickets.
The comments come after Katie was left red-faced following her arrival at the Edinburgh masterclass, with just 12 people gathered outside to meet the star.
Entry to the event promises a photo op with the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Star, as well as a chance to ask questions in a Q&A session after the masterclass.
Her make-up artist Fern is on hand to give fans a tutorial on how to achieve Katie’s favourite looks, but some have poured scorn on the suggestion the star’s ‘look’ can be achieved with make-up, as she’s undergone cosmetic surgery.
There’s still 19 dates remaining on the tour, with Katie taking a brief break from her masterclasses next week, before heading to Yorkshire, and Ireland.
